2008 TOYOTA Great Ethiopian Run 10km, 23 November 2008

The 2008 TOYOTA Great Ethiopian Run will be the 8th edition of Ethiopia's annual international 10km road race.

32,000 places will be available to participants for the run through sale at registration centres in Addis Ababa and through the group registration system used in previous editions of the race.

An additional 3,000 places are available for children participating in the AIMS Children Series for children aged under 8 and under 11. These races will take place on the Saturday morning before the main 10km race on the Sunday.

The event welcomes runners of all levels and especially visitors from abroad. If you are coming from abroad and interested to register for this year's race please visit registration international 10k for more details.

The times of the races are as follows:

Saturday 22nd November (Meskel Square, 9am start): AIMS Children Series, races for girls and boys aged under 8 & 11

Sunday 23rd November (Meskel Square): 8.15am Tricycle race
