This page gives information for participants registering from outside Ethiopia.

To register for the 10km race you must register online using the link below.

The fee for participants from outside Ethiopia is £25 for the 10k and £15 for children's races.

This fee includes a ticket to the pre-race pasta party (food only) which will take place at 7pm at the Hilton Addis Ababa on Saturday 20th November.

Your entry fee also includes a race pack with race t-shirt which must be worn at the race. Partcipants who do not wear the race t-shirt will not be allowed into the finish area where medals are distributed to all finishers.

Q: How can I make hotel reservation?
A: Hilton Addis Ababa is the official race partner and has arranged a special room discounts for participants (Single - $165 and Double/Twin - $210 both including breakfast and subject to 10% service charge and 15% VAT). Q: What do I need to know about the race?
A: The race starts and finishes at Meskel Square. You should wear your race T-shirt in the race.

Q: What time does the race start?
A: The race starts at 9am from Meskel Square in the centre of Addis. You should aim to arrive at Meskel Square 8.15-8.30. There is no easy place to leave extra clothes before starting the race so, unless coming with friends, you should leave these at your hotel. Normally, race day is warm and sunny. You will also receive a pouch of water at the finish.

Q: How can I find out my result?
A: The race gives official results for the elite athletes only. You should therefore take your own time for your race or use the clock at the finish.
