28 August 2010- African championship 3000m steeplechase silver medallist Sofia Assefa won her first international race of 2010 with victory in the Memorial Van Damme- Samsung Diamond League- in Brussels, Belgium, but compatriot Sentayehu Ejigu lost out on a chance to win the diamond race over the 5000m after finishing third.
